Twonk Hammer All kinds of S#!T
It has only been a few weeks since E3 has ended. It was during E3 that I was introduced to a game called PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royal. I must say, I was impressed with what I saw. Some may say it’s a Super Smash Brother’s clone with new characters. I offer this question; if the formula works why change it? But there is one significant addition to the formula, cross platform play. You’ll be able to play the game on either PS3 or Vita in the same battle. This is a huge addition to the genre. During the conference developers announced two new fighters to the mix, Nathan Drake and Big Daddy. Today Sony wishes to increase excitement for the game even further.
Sony has just announced that the game is slated for a release of October 23rd, 2012. You can now pre-order the game from your favorite retailer (GameStop, Walmart, BestBuy, Target, and Amazon). There will be a pre-order bonus for all whom pre-order. Sony has this to say,
[quote]Aside from making sure you’ve got a copy on day one, pre-ordering will snag you an exclusive set of costumes for all of the characters in the game![/quote]As you can see, there are two question marks in the featured image above. There are two characters that have yet to be unveiled. The characters will be announced at Sony’s Exhibition Presentation in Las Vegas later this evening at 6:00PM PST. I wonder who they will be.
It seems to me that these costumes are purely cosmetic, which is great for the collector or one that wants to look unique. However, for the rest the costumes don’t mean anything special.
